Job Summary
Lead the drafting, negotiation, and administration of complex contracts and pricing for aerospace and defense solutions. Own cost and pricing analyses, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and respond to RFI/RFPs for aerospace and defense contracts. Serve as the interface with customer contracting organizations, including Government of India defense institutions, to develop and negotiate terms and ensure compliance. Coordinate with internal functional teams, prepare business cases, and provide financial decision support to management. Demonstrates deep understanding of DAP/DPM and develops creative solutions to contractual risk while advancing sale of Boeing products and services. Relocation within India is offered; role based in New Delhi.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 12+ years of related work experience
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with Boeing US counterparts and customers
- Understanding of contract terms and conditions and ability to convey Boeing imperatives to the Indian customer
- Experience drafting, proposing, negotiating, and administering contractual instruments for aerospace/defense agreements
- Knowledge of Defense Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defense Procurement Manual (DPM) for Government of India defense contracts
