Job Summary
Contracts Manager role leading administration, negotiation, and execution of contractual obligations with the primary EPC contractor for Woodfibre LNG in British Columbia. Interfaces with EPC Contractor, subcontractors, and Woodfibre LNG project management to defend contractual rights, manage change orders, and ensure compliance across civil, modules installation, marine construction, and workers accommodation. Requires extensive experience in EPC contracting, change management, and stakeholder communication; based at the project site in Squamish with potential flexible relocation to Calgary and other offices. Emphasizes leadership in contracting strategies, management of correspondence and logs, and coordination with legal counsel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in client EPC contract organization in Oil and Gas with LNG/refinery experience preferred in Canada
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in EPC lump sum, unit rates and reimbursable contracting and administration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a team lead or supervisory position in a client EPC organization
- Experience in contract negotiations as lead and support change and claims management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments
- Strong project planning/execution/organization skills
- MS Office and document management proficiency
