Job Summary
The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from proposal development and negotiation to administration and close-out. This role ensures compliance with all contractual terms and conditions while mitigating risk and supporting program objectives. Key responsibilities include managing contract lifecycle, interpreting contract specifications, assisting with cost and price analysis, preparing and managing subcontractor agreements, and maintaining accurate contract documentation. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, relevant experience in contract administration, strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contract Management, or related field
- Experience in contract administration within aerospace, defense, or government contracting
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other regulatory requirements
- Excellent negotiation, risk management, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Desired Qualifications
- NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM)
- Experience managing complex government contracts and subcontractor agreements
- Familiarity with cost / price analysis and proposal development processes
