Job Summary
Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing the contractual and commercial aspects of major projects. Manage contract administration, procurement, tendering, contractor performance, claims, and commercial risk to support project delivery and maximise commercial outcomes. Key duties include managing project contracts, variations, claims, contractor performance; leading tendering, contract negotiations, and procurement activities; providing contractual and commercial support to Project Managers; monitoring contract compliance, commercial risk, and project obligations; managing progress payments and documentation; reporting; and building strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Requires proven experience in contract management, with strong knowledge of procurement, contract negotiations, and risk, plus excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar contract management role
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and commercial management
- Experience managing contract negotiations, claims, and risk
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and commercial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
