Job Summary
Negotiate complex contract terms with domestic, international, and government customers while managing contracts throughout all lifecycle phases. Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, including export control and ITAR requirements, and support capture efforts by reviewing proposals for RFP/RFQ compliance. Engage with management, customer, and supplier leadership to prepare risk analyses, mitigation strategies, and negotiation recommendations that minimize risk and maximize financial results. Lead efforts to evaluate processes, address gaps, and identify future infrastructure enhancements for the Contracts organization. Travel up to 25% annually.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience, or an MBA/JD with 8+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and administering contracts from the capture phase through close-out for multiple contract types
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple tasks, and support concurrent requirements for different internal and external customers
- Experience negotiating commercial and defense contracts with domestic, international, and government customers
- Expertise in identifying contractual risk and advising businesses, especially in the areas of liability, intellectual property, liquidated damages, financial instruments, and international law
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate Requests for Proposal and work with the proposal team to develop proposal strategies that mitigate risk and are aligned with the goals of the business
- Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), or their equivalents, including applicable supplements, guidelines, requirements, and procedures, and for international pursuits and contracts, ensuring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Ability to contribute to strategy development and lead strategic initiatives supporting functional and business objectives
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, if required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Experience with cybersecurity and information security terms and conditions, policies, and regulations
- Experience with Oracle ERP
