Job Summary
Negotiate complex contract terms with domestic, international, and government customers while managing contracts through the entire lifecycle. Lead contract negotiations, provide oversight to the Contracts team, and evaluate new business opportunities to minimize risk and maximize financial results. Ensure compliance with contract terms, export controls, FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations. Support proposal development and reviews by identifying and mitigating risks in Requests for Proposal and Requests for Quotation. Prepare contractual term analyses and risk mitigation strategies for management. Engage with customer and supplier leadership to provide technical contractual guidance. Travel up to 25% annually. Based in East Syracuse, NY, Quincy, MA, Orlando, FL, or Auburn Hills, MI.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience, or an MBA/JD with 8+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and administering contracts from the capture phase through close-out for multiple contract types
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple tasks, and support concurrent requirements for different internal and external customers
- Experience negotiating commercial and defense contracts with domestic, international, and government customers
- Expertise in identifying contractual risk and advising businesses, especially in the areas of liability, intellectual property, liquidated damages, financial instruments, and international law
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate Requests for Proposal and work with the proposal team to develop proposal strategies that mitigate risk and are aligned with the goals of the business
- Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), or their equivalents, including applicable supplements, guidelines, requirements, and procedures, and for international pursuits and contracts, ensuring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Ability to contribute to strategy development and lead strategic initiatives supporting functional and business objectives
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, if required
- Must be a U.S. citizen

Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Experience with cybersecurity and information security terms and conditions, policies, and regulations
- Experience with Oracle ERP
