Job Summary

Negotiate complex contract terms with domestic, international, and government customers while managing contracts throughout the full lifecycle. Lead negotiations, oversee the Contracts team, and evaluate new business opportunities to minimize risk and maximize financial results. Review commercial and defense proposals for compliance with RFPs and RFQs, identifying and mitigating execution risks. Prepare contractual analyses for management, including risk assessments and negotiation strategies, and provide technical contractual guidance to internal customers. Ensure compliance with government regulations, including export controls and ITAR, while supporting proposal development across the business. Lead process improvements and contribute to organizational strategy within the Air Traffic Management and Defense business units.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience, or an MBA/JD with 8+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing and administering contracts from the capture phase through close-out for multiple contract types
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple tasks, and support concurrent requirements for different internal and external customers
  • Experience negotiating commercial and defense contracts with domestic, international, and government customers
  • Expertise in identifying contractual risk and advising businesses, especially in the areas of liability, intellectual property, liquidated damages, financial instruments, and international law
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate Requests for Proposal and work with the proposal team to develop proposal strategies that mitigate risk and are aligned with the goals of the business
  • Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), or their equivalents, including applicable supplements, guidelines, requirements, and procedures, and for international pursuits and contracts, ensuring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Ability to contribute to strategy development and lead strategic initiatives supporting functional and business objectives
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, if required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Experience with cybersecurity and information security terms and conditions, policies, and regulations
  • Experience with Oracle ERP
