Job Summary
Negotiate complex contract terms with domestic, international, and government customers while managing contracts through all lifecycle phases. Ensure compliance with government regulations, including export control requirements and FAR/DFARS, and support proposal development by reviewing RFPs for risk mitigation. Lead contract negotiations, provide oversight to the Contracts team, and prepare risk analyses and negotiation strategies for management. Evaluate new business opportunities to minimize risk and maximize financial results, while offering broad technical contractual guidance to internal customers. Travel up to 25% annually to support these efforts.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business or a related discipline
- MBA
- JD
- 10+ years of experience
- 8+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and administering contracts from the capture phase through close-out for multiple contract types
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience negotiating commercial and defense contracts with domestic, international, and government customers
- Expertise in identifying contractual risk
- Expertise in advising businesses in the areas of liability, intellectual property, liquidated damages, financial instruments, and international law
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate Requests for Proposal
- Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience working with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Experience ensuring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Ability to contribute to strategy development
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Experience with cybersecurity and information security terms and conditions, policies, and regulations
- Experience with Oracle ERP
