Job Summary
Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing all contractual and commercial aspects of road and infrastructure projects, including managing contracts, negotiating terms, ensuring regulatory compliance, handling claims and variations, monitoring budgets and financial performance, preparing reports, and supporting project teams with risk assessment and dispute resolution. Requires a degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field, proven contract-management experience in infrastructure projects, knowledge of FIDIC/NEC, strong negotiation and financial skills, and proficiency in contract administration and project-management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field
- Proven experience in contract management and commercial roles within road and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts
- Proficiency in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong financial acumen and cost-control expertise
- Ability to interpret legal documents and contractual obligations
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
