Job Summary
Senior Contracts Manager role leading end-to-end commercial and risk activities for GE Vernova's Power Conversion and Storage projects. Own contractual activities from sales handover through project closeout, lead contract analysis, negotiations, claims management, and variation/change orders on high-risk or escalated projects. Advise project teams on contractual and regulatory/tax requirements, notices, deliverables, and compliance obligations; collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Program Management, and other stakeholders to align commercial positions. Support subcontractor and supplier flow-down packages, manage customer and supplier claims with Legal and business teams, and contribute to contract process improvements. Remote-friendly US-based position with Pittsburgh as a base and up to 20% travel; relocation not provided. GE Vernova offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Contract Management, Legal, Commercial, or EPC/Infrastructure-related discipline; or Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of working across multiple functions and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Position is based in Pittsburgh, with up to 20% travel required.
- Experience providing senior-level contract oversight across a portfolio of large, high-value projects (preferred).
- Familiarity with renewable industry and project financing (preferred).
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex contractual issues independently.
