Job Summary
Contracts Manager at Canva: Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS and vendor contracts in support of Enterprise, Canva for Education, and Procurement. Manage contract database, provide practical risk-focused guidance, and collaborate with internal teams to improve contracting processes and templates. Deliver training on contracting tools and workflows, and support thelegal team's adoption of AI-assisted contracting tools. Minimum requirement: bachelor’s degree and extensive SaaS contract negotiation experience; proficiency with Ironclad, Salesforce, and AI tools; strong collaboration, risk-awareness, and negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Extensive experience negotiating SaaS agreements for a high-volume sales team
- Experience reviewing vendor agreements
- Experience with Ironclad, Salesforce, and AI tools for contract review/management
- Ability to train and enable cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfort negotiating live with customers and vendors
- Ability to prioritize and balance business needs with risk
