Job Summary
Administer the complete lifecycle of U.S. Government contracts from proposal through closeout, including reviewing, negotiating, and managing prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and modifications. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency regulations while analyzing solicitation requirements and identifying risks for proposal development. Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors to interpret contractual terms and advise leadership on rights and liabilities. Maintain audit-ready documentation, track performance metrics and deadlines, and collaborate with Program Management, Finance, and Legal to fulfill obligations. Stay current on acquisition regulations and support contract audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field
- 5+ years of government contracts administration or contract management experience
- Strong working knowledge of: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Strong working knowledge of: Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Strong working knowledge of: Government procurement regulations
- Strong working knowledge of: Contract lifecycle management
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), federal agencies, or government contractors
- Experience reviewing and negotiating: Prime Contracts
- Experience reviewing and negotiating: Subcontracts
- Experience reviewing and negotiating: Teaming Agreements
- Experience reviewing and negotiating: Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Experience reviewing and negotiating: Purchase Orders
- Experience reviewing and negotiating: Contract Modifications
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
- NCMA certifications (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM)
- Experience supporting Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and IDIQ contracts
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or other government contractor ERP systems
- Experience working in a CMMC, NIST 800-171, or classified environment
- Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
