Job Summary
Track daily tasks in multiple reporting platforms and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Sustain record keeping and filing for contracting and purchasing, while assisting with updates of weekly activity slides. Complete customer and supplier documentation, research FAR and DFARS regulations, and create flow-down clauses from customer terms. Manage manufacturing awards up to $100k, including communication with customers and modifications. Monitor Request for Quotes systems to ensure stakeholders meet proposal deadlines, finalize quotes, and submit proposals. Conduct contract reviews, draft award announcements, and track closeout procedures. Audit contracting data entries and provide training on clerking topics as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 0+ years of experience
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport professionally and work successfully with others
- Proficiency in follow-through with directions from leadership
- Ability to learn and use systems related to contracting i.e., Unanet, DocuSign)
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and tasks
- Must be a US citizen
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or other relevant focus area
- 2+ years of Defense Contractor administrative, record keeping, data management, and/or procurement experience
