Job Summary

Contracts Attorney handling review, drafting, and negotiation of SaaS, payment processing, professional services, marketing and vendor agreements; preparing responses to government RFPs; providing legal analysis of applicable laws and regulations; communicating with business stakeholders; managing multiple contracts and deadlines; leveraging software licensing expertise and cross-functional collaboration to support Tyler Technologies across business units.

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from accredited U.S. law school
  • Licensed in good standing with a State Bar (as applicable per location)
  • 1-4 years of general corporate or commercial contract experience as an attorney
  • Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle, including proposals, administration, and close-out; experience in software licensing/legal contract terminology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; strategic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Experience in corporate law or a similar field
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Familiarity with industry-specific contract regulations and standards
