Job Summary
Lead the sourcing and contracting lifecycle for solar EPC needs, including identifying and prescreening suppliers of solar equipment and EPC services; negotiate favorable terms, manage contracts from RFI to execution, and drive cost reductions while maintaining quality and compliance with environmental/import/export standards; develop and implement procurement strategies, oversee quality control for incoming materials, and manage contract administration, change management, and dispute resolution; leverage ERP/procurement tools (e.g., Procore) and data-driven decision-making to optimize the supply chain; require strong vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and domestic travel as needed; hybrid on-site in Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, EPC Contracting, or a related role in Renewable Energy
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Procore) and procurement software
- Ability to travel domestically (<10%)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Commitment to ongoing process improvement
