Job Summary
The Contracts Advisor will support the Subsea business leadership team by reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating a variety of contracts including non-disclosure agreements, IT agreements, and vendor contracts. Additionally, the role involves drafting contractual documents, leading negotiations during the tendering phase, and advising business managers on mitigating contractual risks. This position requires a university degree in Business, substantial experience in contracts within the oilfield, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with energy industry contractual standards and principles is essential.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years of Contracts and commercial conditions experience
- Experienced with Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of legal, commercial and contractual requirements/risks in the energy industry
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry standard contracts and contracting principles
- Experience in the full contract life cycle from RFQ to close-out
- Working knowledge of proposals, handover and management of contracts post execution
- Working knowledge of the financial and business outcomes from Contracting recommendations
