Contracts Administrator

Job Summary
Provide advice and support on commercial issues across multiple, diverse projects, contributing to upstream and downstream contract management, claims resolution, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. Liaise with external stakeholders to negotiate contracts and assist project teams with contractual advice, formal correspondence, and change management. Administer and manage multiple projects and subcontract packages autonomously while identifying commercial risks and opportunities for civil infrastructure and engineering construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as quantity surveying, engineering, construction project management or commercial law
- experience, and knowledge of various aspects of construction contract management
- administration, project controls, subcontract procurement, commercial claims, commercial reporting, risk, and opportunity identification, and management for civil infrastructure, and engineering construction projects
- ability to confidently liaise, and negotiate with external stakeholders
- exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally, you'll have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as quantity surveying, engineering, construction project management or commercial law
