Job Summary
Contract Administrator role within a permanent program of work on the Gold Coast, responsible for understanding commercial aspects of construction and utilities contracts, identifying key contract and financial risks, project forecasting, financial modelling, cost control, and monthly progress claims. Manages procurement of subcontractors and negotiates terms, oversees subcontractor sub-contracts (payments, variations, claims, EOT), and liaises with the Project Manager and Commercial Manager to mitigate risks. Desirable formal qualifications in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying; experience in end-to-end procurement and contract formation in construction/utilities; strong IT skills (Excel/Word); JDE experience an advantage.
