Job Summary
Manage contract administration and commercial activities across development projects, ensuring compliance and successful delivery. Provide commercial support on client and contractor contracts, including claims, variations, extensions of time, and contractual correspondence. Administer upstream and downstream contracts to identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Maintain project documentation, reports, registers, meeting minutes, and contract records to support project governance. Coordinate tendering, procurement, consultant and contractor agreements, payment claims, and project approvals. This role supports the successful delivery of major industrial, logistics, and commercial development projects within the New Economy sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Property or a related discipline
- Experience within a Tier 1 contractor environment, undertaking contract administration, project coordination or commercial management responsibilities
- Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, claims, variations and commercial risk management with the ability to independently produce a full cost report
- Knowledge of engineering and building principles, construction documentation, the Building Code of Australia and development delivery processes
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
