Job Summary
Contracts Administrator based in Edmonton, responsible for end-to-end contract activities including RFP development and management, proposal evaluation, award recommendations, negotiation of terms and conditions, contract drafting, and post-award management (change control, claims/disputes, submittals tracking, and compliance). Ensure contracts reflect commercial terms, maintain project-aligned documentation and reporting, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing plans. Requires five years of contract administration experience in mining/heavy/construction and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; familiar with contract law, regulatory requirements, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/S4 Hana).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, finance, law, or a related field
- Five (5) years’ contract administration experience in the mining, heavy or construction industry
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, regulatory requirements and purchasing law related to public tenders and RFPs
