Contractor Social Worker

Contractor Social Worker delivering psychosocial assessment and intervention services across Life Insurance, NSW Workers Compensation, iCare and CTP. You’ll work autonomously with full schedule control, manage client mix, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. Core responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating actions to meet participants’ health, wellbeing and social needs, building strong relationships with clients, employers and referral partners, and traveling to provide face-to-face servicing. Requires AASW membership, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical/rehabilitation settings, and expertise in connecting clients with government services (Centrelink, housing agencies, NDIS, Legal Aid NSW, NSW Trustee and Guardian). Strong communication, case management, discharge planning, and care coordination skills, plus a current driver’s license and ability to travel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic client record management. Hybrid work arrangement in Sydney, Australia.
