Job Summary
Manage and oversee security operations within assigned activities, adhering to national, DoD, and SAP policies. Verify personnel access levels through DISS and coordinate with the Government Activity Manager for access justifications. Establish, conduct, and document initial and annual refresher training for all program-accessed individuals. Perform annual self-inspections, document findings, and submit corrective action plans to the PSO. Write and edit Standard Operating Procedures, Program Security Guides, and Memoranda of Agreements. Requires 3+ years of experience as a Contractor SAP Security Officer, Top Secret clearance, and DoD 5205.07 implementation knowledge. Annualized salary range is $55,200 to $126,000.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO)
- Experience implementing, managing, and administering DoDM 5205.07
- Experience writing and supporting all test, OPSEC, and facility plans in support of program activities
- Experience interpreting and applying ICD 705 requirements for secure spaces
- Knowledge of all volumes of DoD Regulations regarding classified information
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), JSIG, and ICDs 704-705
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
