Job Summary
Oversee and implement program tasks while coaching, training, and developing contractors to ensure their success. Review applications and documentation for completeness, then communicate updates and disqualifications to participants. Provide education and support through one-on-one and group engagements, assisting with customer service calls and directing correspondence. Maintain program databases and tracking spreadsheets, including licenses and project details, while helping participants access marketing materials. Drive interest and participation among trade contractors by establishing relationships with employees, agencies, and the public. Support outreach efforts to attract new contractors and ensure adherence to program rules. Travel up to 25% of the time to fulfill these duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and businesses
- Experience identifying and developing relationships, as well as collaborating with community organizations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and excellent organizational skills
- Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong history of providing excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients, and team members
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Function well with a diverse group of people
- Utilize good judgement to plan and accomplish goals
- Anticipate and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Must be able to handle a wide work variety that may not be explicitly stated above listed duties and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to lift to 10 pounds
- E-Verify employment authorization
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous energy efficiency industry experience
- Bilingual preferred
