Job Summary
Contractor Project Manager responsible for leading complex commercial construction and major renovation projects. Works with government clients (DoD, VA, GSA, NIH) and A&E firms to plan, define, design, and construct facilities; develops space plans and occupancy strategies; manages project cost estimates, schedules, and documentation; coordinates construction activities, progress meetings, and SME collaboration; ensures compliance with ADA, NFPA Life Safety codes, CFRs, and OSHA requirements; utilizes AutoCAD and MS Project/Primavera; demonstrates strong client relations and team leadership, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, engineering, building construction, or construction management (civil, mechanical, electrical, or architectural)
- Minimum of six years specialized experience in commercial construction project management
- Experience interfacing with government agencies and A&E firms
- Proven experience in managing complex new construction or major renovation projects
- Ability to develop project schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera
- Proven experience coordinating a project management team
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
