Job Summary
Administer security for assigned classified programs by overseeing protection of classified information, maintaining secure facilities and SCIF operations, and coordinating visitor control. Develop and deliver security briefings for cleared personnel while conducting self-inspections, inventories, and audits to ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, and customer directives. Partner with government customers and program leadership to manage risk, support personnel security activities, and prepare required documentation such as DD Form 254s and security plans. Serve as a trusted advisor to balance mission execution with regulatory requirements. Requires active Top Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 5+ years of experience supporting classified programs.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee)
- US Citizenship
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Current SCI eligibility
- Ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of industrial, government, or program security experience supporting classified programs
- Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of national security policies including ICDs, NISPOM, Executive Orders, customer specific directives, and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
- Experience administering SCI programs, personnel security, classified material control, and visitor management
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary security environment spanning personnel, physical, information, and industrial security
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience serving as a CPSO, CSSO, FSO or equivalent security role supporting NRO, DoD, or Intelligence Community programs
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing customer requirements, and execute with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience preparing security documentation, reports, and compliance records
