Job Summary
Provide guidance and implement contractual security requirements for engineering development labs and multifunction facilities utilizing NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and DoDD 5205.11. Manage all aspects of processing clearances/accesses, document control, physical/technical security, and program security while collaborating with the COMSEC account management team. Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and execute corrective actions; conduct self-inspections and develop corrective action plans. Draft, review, and release official outgoing correspondence ensuring compliance with security classification guides, and deliver briefings to contractors and customer personnel. Maintain facilities and develop security procedures for contractors and subcontractors in accordance with ICD 705 standards. Full-time role with some travel required. U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret/SCI clearance needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current investigation date within 5 years
- U.S. Citizenship Status
- Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance as of Day One of Employment
- Minimum of 10 years of Industrial Security experience
- Understanding of DoD, IC, and SAP manuals
- Expertise in Program Security, Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security and Document Control/Accountability and COMSEC
- Ability to be self-driven and lead by example
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- Flexible work hours and availability for some travel
- Ability to transfer/obtain/maintain a U.S. government (TS//SCI and/or SAP) security clearance
- A drug screen
- Subject to a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with standard office and position-specific tools is preferred: Microsoft Office suite of products, DISS, TALON, NISS, and personnel security databases (SIMS)
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) with DoD 8140 certification
- Experience with physical construction of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs); ICD 705 knowledge
- Experience with access control and alarm Intrusion Detection and Surveillance systems; UL-2050 knowledge
- Experience with generating DD-254s and sub-contractor oversight
- Experience with developing Program Protection Plans (PPP), OPSEC plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
