Job Summary
Contractor Therapist provides outpatient behavioral health services in Philadelphia locations, including comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments, individual and group therapy, and collaborative treatment planning for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use concerns. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based therapies (e.g., motivational interviewing and other EBPs), participating in multidisciplinary supervision and meetings, maintaining clinical documentation, coordinating with external teams, and supporting community functioning and recovery goals. The role supports supervision towards licensure and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days remote, 2 days in office) across three Philadelphia sites. Licensure in related fields and active clinical practice are required, with supervision available. The work emphasizes culturally responsive, trauma-informed care across adult and pediatric populations, including LGBTQI+ and Latino communities at designated locations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Active professional licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or equivalent)
- Experience in behavioral health/substance use field
- Experience providing mental health or behavioral health therapy
- Licensure supervision available
- Certification options such as CAADC, ADC, CAAC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDPD (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Outpatient therapist role requiring flexible hybrid scheduling (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-8:00 PM)
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred
