Job Summary
Provide safe transportation of patients to medical appointments (doctor’s, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies) using company vehicles, while delivering courteous customer service. Responsibilities include reporting defects, conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to traffic laws and PTI policies, and ensuring timely pickups and passenger arrival. Full-time position with in-field training, vehicle provided, and per-trip incentive beyond base pay. Must maintain driving record and pass screenings; position emphasizes safety, dependability, and professional conduct. Training and fuel card provided; duties also include reporting moving violations and following company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver’s license
- Must live within 30 minutes of employment location
- At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- 3-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Background check
- Driving performance test
- Able to read, write, and converse in English
- Able to use GPS/Technology System
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Able to climb in and out of vehicle
- Able to bend to inspect undercarriage and tires
- Able to open/close vehicle doors and hatches
