Job Summary

Conduct job briefings, monitor track conditions, and coordinate train movements via radio to ensure personnel remain safely clear of active tracks while overseeing worksite safety and flagging services. Document all activities, including incident reports and daily work logs, and enforce Federal, State, and company policies in compliance with 49 CFR 214. Manage long-term travel assignments of 50% to 85% in a field environment across all weather conditions, providing safety oversight for construction and maintenance within railroad rights-of-way.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Ability for long-term travel assignments, including multi-month deployments
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company preferably in the maintenance of way or TY&E departments
  • Successfully completes all required federal, client, and company-specific training
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment/recurrent background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and classroom training
