Job Summary
Oversee worksite safety and provide flagging services for construction and maintenance crews within railroad rights-of-way. Conduct job briefings, monitor track conditions, and coordinate with train dispatchers to ensure personnel remain clear of active tracks. Document all activities, including incident reports and daily work logs, for submission to management and regulatory agencies. Enforce all Railroad, State, and Federal Policies while managing long-term travel assignments of 50% to 85%. Complete required federal, client, and company-specific training.
Required Qualifications
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
- Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability for long-term travel assignments, including multi-month deployments
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company preferably in the maintenance of way or TY&E departments
- Successfully completes all required federal, client, and company-specific training
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment/recurrent background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and classroom training
