Job Summary

Oversees construction, maintenance, and safety compliance for railroad projects as Contractor in Charge (CIC); ensures work within railroad rights-of-way is performed safely and in accordance with FRA regulations; conducts job briefings, monitors track conditions, coordinates train movements, documents activities, and enforces railroad, state, and federal policies. Travel is common (field environment). Requires strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to deploy for multi-month assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company preferably in the maintenance of way or TY&E departments
  • Successfully completes all required federal, client, and company-specific training.
