Job Summary
Oversee worksite safety and flagging within railroad rights-of-way; supervise construction, maintenance, and safety compliance for freight railroads, transit systems, state DOTs, and rail industry partners; conduct job briefings and ensure FRA regulations compliance (49 CFR 214); monitor track conditions, approach trains, and coordinate train movements; document activities and reports; enforce Railway policies; travel 50-85% and work in field environments; communicate with train dispatchers, engineers, and supervisors via radio, phone, or electronic systems; maintain logs and electronic forms for management and regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company preferably in the maintenance of way or TY&E departments
- Successfully completes all required federal, client, and company-specific training.
