Job Summary
Contractor in Asia for Finance and Business Advisory supporting budgeting, forecasting, and AUM projections for General Account Investments across Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK. Responsible for aligning investment strategy with AUM projections, monitoring financial metrics, liaising with global stakeholders on variance analysis, and preparing quarterly board packages and management presentations. Supports regulatory and statutory reporting, including SFC FRR, audits, and tax filings; enhances business infrastructure with process improvements, system automation opportunities, and risk controls. Requires CA/CPA or equivalent (desirable), 5+ years in asset management or financial services, IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Hybrid working arrangement in Hong Kong.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in asset management or financial services
- Experience with IFRS, local Asia GAAPs, US GAAP knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of SFC FRR reporting is a plus
- Adeptness in computing technology including Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, VBA), PowerPoint; ability to produce management-focused presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with multiple parties in a global organization
