Job Summary
Execute warranty work on sold homes by managing customer appointments, picking up and verifying parts from the factory, and installing repairs per service work orders. Perform essential handyman tasks including carpentry for trim, roofing, windows, drywall, siding, and flooring, alongside plumbing and electrical repairs for toilets, water heaters, and fixtures. Maintain company vehicle logs and tools, ensure DOT compliance, and return completed work orders to the factory. Represent Champion Home Builders with a professional attitude while demonstrating strong troubleshooting and communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- Ability to troubleshoot, reason and solve problems
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Understand and execute instructions
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Understand and comply with work safety policies and procedures

- Possess carpentry skills in the following areas: Trim work, Roofing, Window replacement, Door realignment, Drywall repairs, Siding, Flooring, Plumbing, Electrical
- Proficient home repair skills
- Repair/replace toilets, water heaters, light fixtures, door/cabinet hardware
- Maintain company tools and materials
- Represent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional appearance
- Demonstrate strong customer relation skills
