Job Summary
Contractor Commercial Manager responsible for overseeing all day-to-day commercial and contractual aspects of the contract in Nashville, TN, ensuring compliance, cost control, and value delivery for both the client and company. Manages budgets, forecasts, invoices, and cost reporting; prepares, prices, and negotiates contract variations and scope changes; identifies and mitigates commercial risks; prepares commercial reports, performance summaries, and audit documentation; enforces internal approvals and supports process and cost-efficiency improvements; leads planning, procurement, and delivery of capital, refurbishment, and small construction projects with defined scope, schedules, budgets, and quality/closeout documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (civil/mechanical/electrical), Construction Management, or related field.
- 5–8+ years’ progressive experience in public sector facilities management, construction/project management, or maintenance operations; experience with transportation/toll operations or government/public-sector assets preferred.
- Proven experience managing mobile maintenance teams and occupied/operational sites.
- Ownership mindset: demonstrated bias for action and accountability, comfortable making decisions, following through, and driving results in a 24/7 operational environment.
