Job Summary
Monitor the team's general mailbox and distribute emails to the proper team members. Process advisor contract terminations, including orphan business reassignment with carriers, and coordinate advisor transfer out requests to their New MGA. Facilitate advisor block transfers, set up rep and branch codes in the back-office system, and ensure all licensing and E&O requirements are entered in the APEXA system. Assist advisors in maintaining their profiles with updated contact info, banking details, and annual attestations while investigating inquiries related to licensing. Monitor APEXA feeds and tasks daily to ensure system data is updated and all department goals are met. This 14-month contract supports independent insurance advisors in providing financial security to Canadian families and businesses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience in the insurance industry or similar work environment
- Superior organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Proven accuracy, attention to detail and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships and work within a team environment
- Ability to represent self, office and organization in a professional, positive manner at all times
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
- This role is for an existing position
