Job Summary
Aerotek is seeking a Contract Tool and Die Maker for a manufacturing company, responsible for maintenance and repairs on stamping dies. The role involves working closely with the engineering team and requires hands-on experience with various machining techniques and tools.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in tool and die or a journeyman card in tooling
- Experience in die deconstruction and re-assembly
- Experience in lifting and rigging to move large die sets
- Experience with HAAS or ACER mills/lathes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with lathes, mills, surface grinders, and welding machines (Mig and Tig)
- Experience with spectrometer and Argus systems
Additional Requirements
- Steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high visibility vest required
- Acceptable attire includes jeans or work pants without holes, rips, shorts, or leggings, and shirts can be plain colored T-shirts or polos
