Job Summary

Contract Specialist for Government Contracts based in Nashville, TN. Responsible for coordinating and administering all phases of service contract management across federal, state, and local government customers, including quoting, contract review, order creation, modifications, and ongoing administration. Supports compliance with internal policies and government regulations, accurate revenue recognition, audit readiness, and seamless contract execution through ERP/CRM systems. Works closely with Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders as an operational partner to ensure contracts are executable and aligned with business needs. This role emphasizes ownership, autonomy, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and offers exposure to complex government contracting, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales support, customer service, contract administration, or proposal development in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management, including quoting, compliance review, order processing, invoicing, and contract modifications, with proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • An intermediate Excel level is required.
  • High School Diploma or vocational education required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in government contracting and/or large-volume contract administration.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and Microsoft Office.
  • Background in contract lifecycle management, quoting, compliance review, and invoicing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal) to enable contract execution.
  • Attention to detail and audit-readiness mindset.
  • Proactive, autonomous work style with strong ownership.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Experience in revenue recognition processes.
  • Experience with government customers (federal/state/local) is a plus.
