Job Summary
Contract Specialist at Oshkosh Defense administers and coordinates Government contracts, serving as the liaison between customers and the company on pricing, deliverables, scheduling, billing, and related requests. Responsibilities include preparing and coordinating quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts, modifications, and specifications; performing administrative functions and maintaining reports to ensure timely delivery of contract deliverables; resolving contract or schedule problems with internal/external customers; preparing DD250 forms for government approval to ensure invoicing and shipment; assisting with data for management or contractual requirements; supporting government audits; presenting a professional image to customers; managing multiple tasks and deadlines; and utilizing strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 1+ years of related experience; standout qualifications include effective communication, diplomacy, independence, innovation, experience with JDE and WAWF, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
