Job Summary
Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contracts including vendor agreements, master agreements, and statements of work within the framework established by the Office of the General Counsel. Manage contract databases to track terms, milestones, and renewals while monitoring performance and compliance. Partner with internal stakeholders across Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, IT, and clinical teams to align agreements with organizational goals. Contribute to the development of contract management processes and assist with training new team members. This Contract Specialist role supports the Strategic Sourcing function within NYU Langone Health's Supply Chain Management team, focusing primarily on Clinical Services and Professional Services agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Law, or a related field or Juris Doctor
- 5+ years of experience in contract management or a related field
- Minimum Qualifications

- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in the healthcare industry and/or with facilities, IT, and professional services contracts
- Experience utilizing AI for contract drafting and negotiation
- Strong understanding of contract principles and practices
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and clearly communicate complex issues
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with contract management software
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
