Job Summary
Contract Specialist I for the United States Marshals Service Procurement Division in San Antonio, TX supports government contract and procurement activities, conducts cradle-to-grave contract reviews, manages contract modifications and close-out, inputs contracts and purchase orders into UFMS, assists Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchases, reviews solicitation packages, advises program offices on documentation, and coordinates with internal stakeholders on procurement actions in accordance with Federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 24 business credit hours
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant contract or procurement experience
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 8, 12, and 15
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation
- U.S. Citizenship required
