Contract Specialist / Administrator

Job Summary
Site-based Contract Administrator role on a large-scale Saskatchewan project. Responsibilities include subcontract administration, reviewing and verifying insurance certificates, preparing change orders, negotiating with subcontractors, administering contracts, facilitating progress reviews, log and manage correspondence, and ensuring payments align with contracts. Requires experience in commercial management, contract law, and risk management, with a track record of working in live construction environments and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Rotation is 9 days on / 5 days off with 10-hour days; LOA or relocation assistance may be available. On-site at Bethune, SK with support from Calgary/Edmonton/Toronto as needed. Hybrid remote work program available based on eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in large, complex construction projects within mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, or heavy industrial environments
- Demonstrated senior-level expertise in commercial management, contract law, subcontract administration, negotiations, pricing strategies, claims avoidance, and risk management
- Extensive experience operating within live construction environments with an understanding of site execution and contractual governance
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams and manage client relationships at executive levels
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership and regulators
- Hybrid/remote work program (up to 52 days per year) may be available based on eligibility
- On-site, full-time permanent role based in Bethune, SK with 9/5 rotation
