Job Summary
Contract Software Engineer (Integrations + Front End) at Travefy — build integrations between Travefy and third-party services and the front-end surfaces for those integrations. Own contained dashboards and reporting views from first commit through tested, reviewed, and shipped. Emphasis on thoughtful design, solid test coverage, and maintainable code, with an async-friendly, fully remote, long-term independent contractor engagement. Stack includes C#/.NET on AWS for backend, React frontend (Ember.js as a plus), REST/JSON APIs, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of integrations, delivering sprint-ready features, building dashboards, and writing clear progress updates. Must ship tightly scoped projects meeting acceptance criteria with proper testing and documentation, while collaborating with a US-based team lead and aligning with flexible overlap hours. Fully remote, with competitive monthly compensation and a focus on quality engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record building production integrations with REST and JSON APIs, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks
- Strong React experience and willingness to work with Ember.js
- Solid C# and .NET experience for backend
- Experience delivering tested, production-ready APIs and dashboards
- Automated testing discipline
- Clear written English and proactive communication
