Job Summary
Contract Site Coordinator responsible for closing work orders and segments in the DBS system, verifying service reports and warranty forms, ensuring proper closing procedures for contract work orders and warranty claims, coordinating with Caterpillar representatives to gather warranty and goodwill, maintaining clear communication between customers and Wyoming Machinery Company personnel on and off site, managing warranty and contract work in progress, ensuring correct cost splits between revenue, contract, warranty and goodwill, updating management on warranty and customer claims status, pulling service reports and filing with completed work orders, ensuring accurate billing of invoices, operating within DBS daily, and supporting the service department with positive leadership and additional special projects; requires high attention to detail, dealer-system proficiency, ability to read manuals, and experience with Caterpillar equipment and maintenance environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver’s license in good standing
- Very detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of large fleet maintenance management
- Able to read and interpret information from parts books, service manuals, SIS, and other sources of information pertinent to the task at hand
- Possess sound computer skills
- Able to operate dealership systems and software
- Minimum of 2 years’ Caterpillar experience or maintenance experience in a similar work environment
- Experience with MCS, SIS, and DBS
- Additional service office work or on-the-job maintenance planning training
