(Contract) Senior Data Scientist, Platform Inference - MarTech DS Measurement

Senior Data Scientist for a 24-month Contract role focusing on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and geo-based measurement to quantify incremental impact of Airbnb's marketing across channels and geographies. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining MMM models (including prior elicitation, adstock/saturation modeling, validation, and sensitivity analysis), developing geo-experiments (synthetic control, difference-in-differences) to measure marketing incrementality, building data pipelines and automated measurement systems, AI-accelerated prototyping to rapidly develop v0 models, productionizing models with testing and data validation, and translating complex measurement findings into clear narratives and budget recommendations for Marketing and Finance stakeholders. Required expertise includes 5+ years in quantitative analysis (or 2+ years with a Ph.D.), strong Python/R skills, SQL, Bayesian modeling familiarity, and excellent communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Location is US - Remote Eligible with state restrictions; some office attendance may be required per manager. Pay range is $140–$150 per hour, reflecting potential bonuses/equity/benefits.
