Job Summary
Contract Security Officer role within an on-site, full-time security team overseeing industrial security for classified and sensitive federal contracts. Responsibilities include processing and managing PCLs, maintaining compliance with NISPOM, SCIFs, and facility clearances; safeguarding and transmitting classified information; conducting security audits; managing visits and reports; implementing security training; supporting OPSEC and insider threat initiatives; and coordinating with federal security officers. Candidates should have a Top Secret clearance eligibility, be able to travel within the CONUS, and possess strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft 365 skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience performing industrial security tasks on IC and/or DoD programs
- Must have and maintain a Top Secret federal security clearance with eligibility for SCI
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle record review
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel within CONUS
