Job Summary
The Contract Sales Representative is responsible for growing the business by providing solutions to existing and new clients. This role includes cold-calling, conducting building surveys, creating service proposals, and making sales presentations. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in high-volume sales is required, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to clear a drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or 3-5 years professional experience in high-volume sales in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must clear a drug screening in accordance with company policy
- Outside sales and cold calling experience
- Exceptional customer service, thoroughness, and self-motivation
- Good decision making skills, very organized and detail oriented
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and strong understanding of fire alarm life safety systems, CCTV, security and card access systems, low voltage systems, installation and testing
- A successful, proven track record of performance either selling intangibles or selling a service that required excellent prospecting ability
