Contract Sales Executive – PFAS Testing

Job Summary

Develop and execute a PFAS-specific sales strategy by researching target markets in environmental, municipal, and industrial sectors. Act as an educational resource to clients on contamination, regulations, and testing methodologies while conducting high-volume outreach via phone, email, and networking. Schedule appointments and lead on-site and remote meetings to present Nova EnviroLabs' capabilities, guiding customers through onboarding, sample requirements, and reporting formats. Collaborate with lab management to align sales commitments with operational capacity and maintain CRM records for activity tracking. Generate weekly and monthly sales reports, attend industry conferences to expand professional networks, and stay current with evolving PFAS regulations and competitive developments. Achieve KPIs for qualified leads and closed contracts while building a sustainable client base for this ground-floor environmental testing initiative.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years experience working in an accredited laboratory
  • Must have strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning
  • Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
  • Proven work experience as sales representative in Cannabis Sales/lab Services
  • Proficient in computer/software use, email, Microsoft, CRM systems, etc.
  • A high school diploma (or GED) and at least three (3) years of related sales experience
  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must pass required background check
  • Must be able to lift 23 kg
  • Must be able to pull 68 kg
  • Periodic travel required for client meetings and conferences
  • Must be able to communicate via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods
  • Must be able to comply with Good Laboratory Practices
  • Must be able to comply with ISO/IEC 17025
  • Must be able to comply with other state or federally mandated certifications
  • Must be able to independently manage a sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Must be able to achieve and exceed KPIs for client engagements, qualified leads, and closed contracts
  • Must be able to maintain organized and detailed records in CRM software for sales activity and client tracking
  • Must be able to guide customers through the onboarding process
  • Must be able to stay current with PFAS regulations, monitoring programs, and competitive developments
  • Must be able to maintain consistent communication with the laboratory team
  • Must be able to collaborate with Sales Leadership and Lab Management
  • Must be able to research and segment target markets
  • Must be able to act as an educational resource to potential clients
  • Must be able to conduct high-volume outreach through phone, email, and networking platforms
  • Must be able to conduct on-site and remote meetings with clients
  • Must be able to generate and submit weekly/monthly sales and pipeline reports
  • Must be able to work with or sell to municipalities, engineering firms, or water utilities
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field
  • Must have experience in regulated industry sales and/or laboratory services
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative selling approach
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in plant medicine safety, quality and value
  • Must have a working knowledge of a broad range of plant medicine products, processes, and cultivation
  • Must have a working knowledge of regulations (local and federal)
  • Must have working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices
  • Must have working knowledge of current official methods

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of PFAS contamination issues, remediation practices, and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with scientific sales and ability to communicate technical details to non-technical clients
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales analytics platforms
  • Experience in environmental testing, industrial services, or compliance sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in regulated industry sales and/or laboratory services
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to educate and influence buying decisions in technical contexts
  • Working knowledge of regulations (local and federal), Good Laboratory Practices, and current official methods
  • Experience working with or selling to municipalities, engineering firms, or water utilities

  • Experience in Cannabis, Hemp, CBD and Fungi
  • BS/BA degree
