Job Summary
Assess patient learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient, family, and group requirements. Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care while communicating, delegating, and managing nursing team resources as a leader on the interdisciplinary team. Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and adjusting explanations of procedures to ensure clear communication. Maintain proficiency in HCHB EMR and computers, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards. Perform other related duties as required, including managing fiscal resources and promoting change to achieve optimal outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- RN- Registered Nurse in state of work or Multi state Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- Local or travel accepted
- HCHB required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- >2 year experience preferred
