Job Summary
Assess patient learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient populations, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care while managing nursing resources and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Adapt communication styles and procedures to specific patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear presentation of information. Utilize HCHB EMR proficiency to evaluate data, promote change for optimal outcomes, and embrace behaviors enhancing customer satisfaction and employee morale. Perform other related duties as required, including handling specimens with potential communicable disease exposure and managing hazardous medications. Maintain current RN licensure, BLS certification, and valid driver's license for this 5x8h contract role.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- RN- Registered Nurse in state of work
- Multi state Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- HCHB required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- >2 year experience preferred
- Local or travel accepted
